Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion
KEMI is dedicated to providing our family of employees a safe work environment where we can be our best and authentic selves in order to provide financial stability and outstanding service to our customers and claimants. We are committed to the continuous improvement of diversity, equity, and inclusion within our KEMI family and the communities we live and serve.
The KEMI Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Committee includes more than 10% of our employees serving in a voluntary capacity. From entry-level staff to the President & CEO, the DEI Committee meets monthly to provide support, education, and awareness companywide. We actively listen to and respect differing contributions and life experiences. KEMI recognized the importance of Juneteenth and included it as one of our paid company holidays prior to the recognition by the federal government.
Unlike many organizations in the insurance industry, KEMI continues to employ a majority of female employees. We are committed to ensuring equitable pay practices, professional development, and career opportunities.
